List of devices with lap butons?

I search the device list with the buttons lap because for example the vivoactive 3 has no button lap and consequently the onTimerLap can not be activated manually.
Do you know where I can find the information because on the doc https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/api-docs/ there are no restrictions

I think you can work this out from the devices.xml in the connectiq bin directory although note that the escape key seems to be used as a lap button too. From what I can see, only the vivoactive3 does not have a LAP or ESC key.

The devices.xml file? Where is it? Did you read this or who does not have the vivoactive3 qio not the lap button?

Actually, on the va3 with 2.60FW you can mark manual laps. It's a setting for the activity, and is a double tap of the screen. So with that, you get onTimerLap().

As far as I know, it was the only wearable where you couldn't mark laps in a native activity, but that's changed.

On many devices, the "back" triggers a manual lap. in a watch-app it's seen as KEY_ESC or onBack. On a va3, that's triggered by a right swipe. In watch apps for the va3, I use the right swipe to mark laps and catch it in onBack(). Devices with KEY_LAP are some of the edge devices.

So as far as marking manual laps and seeing onTimerLap() in a native activity, there are no restrictions. As far as seeing KEY_LAP and doing your own markLap(), like I said, some of the edges, but on the ones without KEY_LAP, KEY_ESC/onBack() is generally used.

I'm doing a data file and the double tap does not work do not. I just have the siulator to test. I have a user who has a vivoactive 3 who just told me it does not work. So I'm looking for why

The double tap to mark a manual lap on the va3 does work with the 2.60 FW. "Manual Laps" must be enabled for "Laps" within the activity setting.

make sure your user has the 2.60 Fw and has manual laps enabled.

In the sim, you can trigger a lap by using Datafields>Timer>Lap Activity.
The "double tap" is new, and isn't available in the sim. I'll file a bug report.

In the mean time you can use the menus to trigger a lap in the sim.
