My guess is the "new" things announced for CIQ are what's new since the symposium in 2016. For example, 2.3.x was announced at the CIQ Developer Summit in April.
And for 2.3.x, a beta SDK was also released the same day it was anounced.
I don't see anything in the garmin developer blog .
Maybe there were a few "we're thinking about..." things, but there were at the Developer Summit too.. I'm sure Brandon,Coleman, and/or AlphaMonkeyC would post if there was something else :)
The blog has been silent for about a month and with the talk at the conference about Blaze mesh networking and g.fit thought maybe garmin would do something with it. Mesh network with other nearby devices so if you're riding or running with someone.....
