System.exit() doesn't exit

In a confirmation delegate for a quit confirmation dialog, I'm finding that System.exit() does not terminate the app.
The call seems to be completely ignored, and the app keeps on going.
Is it a bug, or is there something that I'm missing ?

And... I tried to include the code here as text, but the forum web page gives me an error.
What is the trick to showing code ?

Thanks for the report--we'll get this investigated, By the way, the recent forum upgrade to vBulletin 5 broke a few things, like embedding code. Sorry for the trouble--we've got people working on these issues.

Another thing on the forum that seems to be broken is that during log-on, there's a check-box that says "remember me".
Checking it doesn't result in any indication that my user name has been remembered next time I log on.
