problem posting in forum: Unexpected token A in JSON at position 1

i am having again issues while writing posts. i get this error if the message is somewhat complex, not sure what it causes it:

Error while saving content: SyntaxError: Unexpected token A in JSON at position 1

anybody else is experiencing this?

    I know that for some the issue happens when you use parens "()" I don't seem to be having that issue though. The forum team has a running list of issues that I continue to try to push priority on.

  • If your message is complex enough "/" and even plain numbers can also break the post. Parens is the most common one I've seen, personally. I think it's the combination of parens and braces that causes problems with posting code.

    The next post will contain a single test case which breaks if you replace the word "space" with a space. (Posting it separately because this bug is context sensitive.)

    I just tried to edit the next post, replacing "space" with a space, and the preview wouldn't load. Funnily enough, zero spaces or two spaces is fine. If changing the number of spaces was the key to fixing all the code fragments in the first place....

    In my paragraph above, I had to write "zero" and "two" (instead of the numerals), or my post wouldn't save.

    it is happen to me when I am trying to tag the name with @. so when I didnt use @, it is work and able to post
