addLap() for ForeAthlete 235J

Hi all,

I got a crashing report from a user of my app in Japan who is using the ForeAthlete 235J (ForeRunner 235). It seems, that the app is crashing during the activity recodring while addLap(). Is it possible, that this watch does not allow addLap()? It's strange...

I've used addLap() in a number of things on the fr 23x. There might be something as the user has an APAC version (different FW), but I kind of doubt that. One thing I recall is that that doing an addLap() when the recording is stopped (paused) on a 23x did cause a crash at one point, so I just make sure the app is recording when doing an appLap().

Thank you Jim. I have a couple of users using the FR 23x especially the FR 235 (non APAC) which works perfect. I can't really believe there is a different FW for APAC or especially Japan, but I seems there is... Maybe somebody from Garmin can help here?

The APAC devices all have different FW than the ROW (rest of world) devices. Different part numbers too. The big thing seems to be because of the language support, and APAC devices often lag ROW devices.

Thanks again Jim. But I thought at least the "normal" functionality like addLap() should work...
