My widget shows only a number during launching and also in the widgets list the widget's name isn't shown but a number. Any ideas how I can fix this?
Did you have had a look into the manifest file and the string ressource where the app name usually will be defined? >ou may also have a look into the prg file using a hex editor just to check if the number will be seen there as ascii characters.
I played around with string overriding (language dependent). Saying this,the apps name is in the resources directory in the strings.xml file (next to other strings which are overwritten). Maybe this causes the problem?
The device is a fr935. I will double-check the manifest file and report back.
Okay, the string overriding caused the problem. I included the app's name string now to the language specific XML files and now it worked. Bug or a feature?
