connectix fails with LSOpenURLsWithRole() error -10810

Hello,

weird issue, probably/maybe not a bug.

When compiling and running an app from within Eclipse the simulator starts and works correctly.

Though when trying to run from terminal with connectiq I immediately get "LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed for the application /Applications/Garmin SDK/bin/ConnectIQ.app with error -10810.
".

Please advise me what to do to get it running.

Thanks. :)

    Hey,

We are having issues trying to reproduce this error. Can you fill out the some more information using the rules thread from the top of the forum?

    Thanks,

  • This is from the OP (he had trouble posting back to the forum):

    thanks for the fast reply.

Of course I will provide all relevant information.

I redownloaded the 2.2.6 SDK as well as the new 2.3.1 and the connectiq script runs without any error.

Although now I get an "Unable to connect to simulator." when running monkeydo after having started the simulator as well as when trying to run the app from within Eclipse (Failed to connect to the simulator.).

I'm running Mac OS Sierra, 10.12.5. (Latest stable update)

My Eclipse version is Neon.3 Release (4.6.3). (Latest update)

    Steps to reproduce:

I just need to try to run any app (my own or from the samples) and eclipse or monkeyc will compile it, then start the simulator, but fail with the aforementioned errors.

Let me know what else I can do to help.

Btw I disabled my Mac's firewall and Little Snitch to see if something was getting blocked, but results did not change.
