How to turn on/off bluetooth

Hi all,

I often have disconnections between my vivoactive and my android phone, especially since I updated to android 6 and android 7.

It makes it necessary to turn off/on bluetooth in menu/parameters/bluetooth.

I searched a way to perfom this action by code. There should be some API for that, but I was unable to find it... only able to use phoneConnected in DeviceSettings...

Can someone help me on that ?

You can not control the status of the bluetooth connection from Connect IQ. The phoneConnected simply lets you know if the watch is connected to the phone. You'll need to use the native watch methods to do this.

What I do is simply drag the notification bar on my phone down, toggle BT off, and than back on. If I do it from the Connect devices display, I get a prompt that Connect wants to turn BT back on. I don't know if it really helps but the reconnection is very reliable after I do that.

Connect IQ provides no methods to turn bluetooth off or on. You'll need to use the device settings on your watch to turn on/off the connection to the phone.
