Problem when updating an app "over the air"

Hi

I'm developping an app that has settings. Right now this app is not approved and I install it through my developper account. Everything goes well when I install the app wish Garmin Express on my PC but when I make an update through "Connect" on my iPhone all the settings are lost and the app goes at the end of the list as if it as been removed/reinstalled.

Is it linked to the fact that this app is not yet approved (as still under development) ? Is it an known bug of Connect ?

right now, when you "update" with GCM/iOS, it's actually doing an uninstall and new install in the background, so settings get reset. There are a number of threads about this. Here's one:

To preserve your settings, use Garmin Express.
