Edge 520: Connect IQ App crashes when a Strava Segment starts

My Connect Iq app CGMforEdge crashes every time, a stared Strava Segment begins (while popping up the Strava Segment screen the Connect IQ app crashes, but saves the activity in background).
If I choose the Indoor Profile bevor I start the app, everything works fine.

What's in ciq_log.txt? Can you use a build with debug symbols to get more info? You may want to use the format for a bug report (in the sticky at the top) to provide the actual steps to reproduce, etc.

Yes, Peter, it is related to your bug report!
And thanks to Jim once more, but here we couldn't do anything. I'm shure that has nothing to do with our codes. It happens if I have Strava Segments enabled in the global settings (and not if it is disabled) and propably the detection of a Strava Segment crashes every Connect IQ app which has gps enabled.

I've got this reported to the Edge 520 team. This sounds almost exactly like Peter's report. I've linked the tickets for the teams to investigate.

I will ad another addition, perhaps it helps to fix the problem.
The app crashes also every time when the Recovery Advisor has appeared and disappears.

@Coleman: I'm happy to read in the related thread https://forums.garmin.com/forum/developers/connect-iq/connect-iq-bug-reports/151700-watch-app-detects-strava-live-segments-shows-dismiss-message-and-exits-app that this problem is now investigated.

I'm very happy that someone found a solution for Peter Deckers Ticket Watch App detects Strava Live Segments (shows dismiss message and exits app) and that you provide a firmware for FR 735XT.
But you didn't answer to his question, if the fix will find a way in firmwares of other devices.
Please don't forget this and don't close the ticket to early!

Hey thanks for checking in. I've checked to make sure that no tickets have been closed prematurely. This issue has been fixed on the 735XT, but is still waiting to be addressed on the Edge 520. I do see that the ticket is still active and has a very high priority as of last week.
