App store REQUEST

Would it be possible to add a feature to the app store to sort apps by when they were added?

This would make it easier to occasionally visit the app store and see what new apps may have been added. currently, you have to open up each section and search around for new stuff. as more apps are added, this will become cumbersome and inefficient.

And/or make a sub-category in the story for the new or updated - e.g. less than a week old - applications.

We already have plans to enhance the store at some point in the future to have a "newly added" area, but I'll submit a request to add a sort by date feature. We've been making subtle changes to the store, so hopefully you'll see it becoming more user-friendly as we continue to tweak it and add features. For example, our original design only listed a limited number of apps on a page, but we now have a pagination feature that was quietly added a week or two ago:
