According to documentation when I look at the watch it should exit sleep mode. But on my Fenix 3 it doe snot appear to. I need to hit up or down and return to the watch face for sleep mode to exit. Is this correct and expected?
What firmware version do you have on your device? Gesture support should be available in the current release (2.30), but I don't know if it was available on the original software that went out on shipping devices.
Implemented both functions into my scuba watchface.
Watch reacts on accelerometer e.g. a turn of the wrist and stays awake for around ten seconds.
It seems to must be moved after beeing in an unmoved position for a while - constant shaking does NOT keep it awake.
my watchface is currently under revision by garmin, when released I'll provide a link so that you can experiment with it.
