Gyroscope values in Sensor::Info

Is it likely in 2020? 

I will not persue any gyro dependnat programming if it's not likely coming out soon?

My feeling is that even if the gyro data were available, if it is only exposed at 1Hz (like the mag values), then it won't help much for computing orientation accurately.

It would be even better if the info.roll and info.pitch values were computed using chip-based sensor fusion incorporating the accelerometer, gyro, and mag. Initially I had hoped this was happening, but in the API says that it is merely applying atan to the accelerometer values.

So - Does anyone know if gyroscope native values are available in 3.2?   I'm not lazy, just not a coder and finding that info normally takes me 3 hours of reading through fluff....

No, there's still no access to gyroscope data in 3.2.

I would neee to use gyro readout too. Any update on that please ?

I think this has been asked for over 3 years ago......    I'm not hopeful  ;(

And it's not in 4.0.1 so not even for 4.x devices.

At GDVC last week they said that gyro data was going to be available in system 5!

Ideally they will also supply roll, pitch, and yaw values based on sensor fusion of the gyro+accel+mag+gps along with that update
