My feeling is that even if the gyro data were available, if it is only exposed at 1Hz (like the mag values), then it won't help much for computing orientation accurately.
It would be even better if the info.roll and info.pitch values were computed using chip-based sensor fusion incorporating the accelerometer, gyro, and mag. Initially I had hoped this was happening, but in the API says that it is merely applying atan to the accelerometer values.
No, there's still no access to gyroscope data in 3.2.
Any updates on this?
