Oregon 7xx widget - where is it?

There is a support for widgets for Oregon 7xx devices in SDK. It is there for long time (since 2.0 SDK I guess).
There are some of widgets in app store:

Widgets capability for Oregon 7xx advertised here:

But it is not introduced in firmware, there is no way to launch widget. Just a question - will it be updated and support added?

On an Oregon, swipe down from the top of the screen, (you see a status screen), then right or left to get to widgets.

Thanks, it works. Not easy to find, however. Garmin support answered that it is not possible at all.
Expected to see better UI there, at least icons carousel at bottom of the main widget pane.
