Publishing without Eclipse

Hello folks, I'm new here, tried to search for this information but no luck, so asking...

I developed a weather widget for my Vivoactive HR, since the original one did not provide accurate weather information here in Italy, so I wrote one using the Yahoo Weather API. I managed to develop everything without touching Eclipse in the process, only using the command line tools. However now that I'm about to publish my application, apparently I should use the "App Export Wizard" in order to generate the final file to submit. After I went so far without Eclipse, I would like to continue and do this final step without using an IDE. Is that possible? Thank you.

Hello again, saw no reply here I guess it's not something easily obtainable, so I used Eclipse to submit the app. Thanks.

Look at the -e option for the compiler.

I'm building everything on the command line. Including the packaging for the App Store. Happy to share my scripts when I'm on my laptop.

Thanks! The -e option is a good start, however I would love to see the scripts. Currently I'm using a few bash scripts to build and test in the simulator. I'll try -e as well. Regards.

I use Sublime or Atom as an editor (I love the key bindings). So everything is done on the command line.

Just replace <appname>, <path_to_keys>, and <path_to_sdk>.

Now, I can build for any device, just by running;

build fenix5

.. and release by running;

release

One thing you can't do (or I've never seen a way to do) is to really test app settings without Eclipse (the "App Settings editor" in eclipse) With it, your app can be running in the sim, and you change change settings while it is running (like you can with GCM on a real device)

You might find a way to hack the .set, but not in the relative realtime you can do with the App Settings editor, and not while the app is running.
