SimpleDataField, is it possible to change colors?

Hi,

I'm just getting started with Connect IQ, and have a simple question:
Is it possible to change the text and/or background color on a SimpleDataField?

It know I can do what I want using the DataField class, but it would be nice to not have to do all the sizing and layout stuff when SimpleDataField can do it for me...

No. You have no control over how data is displayed with the simple data field.

Is there any sample code anywhere showing how to best position and scale the output for the different watches and screen layouts when using the regular DataField class?

(I've looked through the API samples without finding anything)
