Hi, I'm looking to create a widget displaying the battery life percentage from my android phone (Since I haven't seen any app for this available on the IQ store). I wonder if there is any way to access this information without having to create a separate android app to retrieve and send the current battery level to the watch?

Unfortunately this is not possible without a companion app.
For what it's worth, I am actually working on an Android companion app right now to do just that. In addition to the battery percentage it also sends other information like next alarm time, WiFi connection info, cell info, etc. that are all available in a widget. I'm hoping to have something out for people to try out test in the next few weeks.
