Watch face crash on settings change made from android app

Hi there,

I have released a new version of my Digital235 watchface. I have tested on the simulatator and on my watch.

Then I got a user feedback, he said when he change the settings the watch face crash and reset to default settings. I thought it's a memory issue, so I did a little code optimization to save memory.
With the re-released version one more user wrote me about this issue. Phillip figured out it's only crash when he change the settings from android app, it works fine from desktop app. I can tell I have no problem from iOS app.
Our guess would be that the settings get corrupted when updates of settings are done from android app.

Is anybody bumped into this error?

I think Travis is right - the FAQ point #10.

It's a long term and known problem with Android and "number" type settings (you expect a number but get a float), but the good news is it's easy to resolve with a small helper function. You'll want to use it in any app that uses app-settings.
