Forerunner 920XT 3.0.7 Beta

It looks like several of you have already found it, but I thought I'd point it out for anyone that has missed it--the Forerunner 920 XT 3.0.7 beta is now available here:

Changes made from version 3.03 to 3.07:

Support Connect IQ 1.1.0 apps and widgets. Installed apps can be found in the list of activity profiles. Installed widgets can be found next to the watch page in that scrolling list.
Support Connect IQ app and widget installation and management through Garmin Express and the Garmin Connect Mobile smartphone app.
Reliability improvements to Bluetooth pairing and maintaining connections with Android devices (Garmin Connect Mobile 2.7.2 or higher required).
Fixed a UI issue when trying to select an activity profile immediately after boot when using some non-English languages.
Fixed an issue with the lap button not working in pool swim following usage of another profile with autopause enabled.

1. Will Garmin be releasing a music controls widget for the 920xt like on the fenix3?
2. Please confirm: The iOS example will not work on the simulator and requires a physical iOS device.

I'm not sure on the first question, but for the second one right now the simulator only works with Android in terms of the Communications.transmit() functionality. It's on our list to provide support for iOS.

Does the CIQ_LOG.txt output still work with the 3.07 beta?

Yes, the log output should continue to work in all the of the beta releases. I don't know whether logging will be available in full release versions yet.

It would be extremely useful if it did, as this would be our only means to debug problems for users if we cannot reproduce them ourself. E.g. when the used watch is one we don't have ourselves.

Has anyone else had HR Activity issues with this version? I get all the run diag, but no HR info. The HRV app works so seems specific to activities.

I looked into Sensors and Accessories in the Settings menu and found that all my HR straps were turned off. I manually turned them on and my heart rate is now working. I do not know if the HRV program is turning them off or not but I removed it anyway.

I don't believe that the ConnectIQ API doesn't provide a mechanism to disable sensors as you would via the Sensors and Accessories menu.

Just spotted these posts. As some of you may already know the problem with HR sensors being disabled was my bad. I hadn't shut down the ANT channel properly when exiting the HRV app. I have published a new version that has addressed the issue.
