I've looked through the API and I'm not seeing anything that allows an application/widget to trigger a vibration or tone. I realize that not all devices will have the supporting hardware, but it would be nice to have access to it when it is there.
On a related note, will it be possible to use this future part of the API to create an alarm app to supplement the single clock alarm present on the 920xt? (Preferably in a battery efficient manner if possible, I've found for example the count-down timer feature on the Fenix seems to drain the battery quickly)
If it is even possible to implement an alarm clock, it would most likely be up to the person writing the code to do it in a way that doesn't waste cycles/battery. Additionally, while your topic may have been tangentially related to the original post, it is bad form to hijack a thread. If you want to make a suggestion or ask a question create a new topic.
