SDK 1.1.0 Release

I noticed the new SDK, makeJsonRequest now works in the simulator, so thanks for that.

The readme is somewhat sparse, is there anything else that development would like to share with us?

Also, this entry got my attention: Update fenix 3 layouts to match hardware changes

What's that about, and how does it affect those of us that received the initial shipment of the Fenix 3?

The Fenix 3 layout change probably could have been worded better.

There haven't been any changes to the device hardware. We fixed a data field issue in the device software and updated the ConnectIQ simulator to reflect those changes. This should have said "device updates" instead of "hardware changes".

The data field issue was the max pixel width for some of the layouts was too large, which could cause data from a ConnectIQ simple data field to run off the screen.

You can download it from the sdk manager in Eclipse. Btw, they also released the iOS framework, although I wasn't able to get it work. There is some issue with the architecture. Xcode says it cannot be built. I tried arm7, arm7s, arm64 and none of them worked. I'm in Yosmite and XCode 6.1.

Is there a change log someplace to see what's changed from 1.0.0 to 1.1.0? I'm moved to 1.1.0 and have seen the the size of my app got a bit smaller per the simulator.

See the new sticky forum post. It took a little bit to roll out everything we wanted to today, but it's now all up there.

I've updated the sdk and the plugins. The simulator still fails when trying the makeJsonRequest. :(

Apologies for being Captain Obvious here, but sometimes those are the things we miss.

So, If you're using Eclipse, for example, did you also remember to update the Connect IQ preferences to point to the latest SDK? Window / Preferences / Connect IQ?

Sometimes, just sometimes, the problem is that you're not running the code that you think you are running.
