I used AI to attempt to determine which devices have a speaker. I think the EDGE 1050 was the first, and I have one and confirm. So I asked AI to search for evidence for those reported to have a speaker and those that don't. For every device released since the 1050. Here is the data. YMMV. Speaker devices handle sound/tone generation much differently.
