Inconsistent SDK Devices

Does anyone else have this issue:

SDK manager shows that all devices have been downloaded, but after upgrading to a newer sdk i often find that devices are missing on the manifest.

I have to delete and redownload the affected devices from SDK Manager

It's usually not obvious which devices are missing until i get user feedback that they cannot install the app...

  • I remember 2 types of occasionally happening things that were reported in the forum:

    1. Garmin released some device with some bug in the device files and later fixed them but some developers had to remove the device and install again to get the fix

    2. Some people probably had some glitch that caused some device files to get corrupted, so had to delete, reinstall the device
