help cant get any sample or how-to to work.

I cant generate any watchfaces. The closest I have gotten is building a New watchface inside eclipse from default settings and all it does is display the time in blue when run in the simulator. When I try to load a sample, or use one of the following guides it still displays the same blue time or returns a too many arguments error. I have read the sticky for this error but as I have yet to see a functional face code, I do not know what I am looking for.

if you keep getting the same WF running, it sounds like you're not changing the run configuration and keep running the same one.

As far as running samples, have you tried the samples that come with the SDK? If you're getting the error about the parameters, sounds like you may be trying pre-2.x.x code, so you could also run into other problems.

can someone send me a sample that works on the newest sdk? again all the samples i have tried dont seem to work. Yes i update the run config just like i have read in the how to guides.

There are a whole bunch of samples included in the SDK. Go to the folder where the SDK is located, and look in the "samples" directory. The Programmer's Guide, UX Guide, and API reference is also there.

I have tried these samples and they aren't working. I feel like there is a missing step in setting up eclipse or the samples included are not compatible with current neon 2.0 and newest sdk

if the samples in the SDK aren't working, there's something odd with either your setup, or how you're doing something. I've been using Neon.2 (on Windows 10) for some time, so it's not that. What version of the SDK and plugin are you using? Do you see anything in the eclipse console?

When you try to use the SDK sample, are you using "import" (file->import) to add them to your workspace?

Thank you for your help. Importing the included samples did the trick. Also discovered i need to save the code before any changes take effect in the simulator. Now the fun can begin.
