On the web version of Garmin Connect, the calendar is really useful because you can see what each day’s workout is at a glance (easy run, intervals, long run, etc.).
On the mobile app, you only get a coloured block and have to tap into each day to see what’s actually planned. It makes it hard to quickly look over a week or month of training.
Also, the mobile calendar only lets you add a workout, event or trip. There’s no simple way to just add a note to a day or week.
It would be really helpful to have:
- Workout names visible on the mobile calendar (like the web version)
- A basic note option for things like “Week 2 – base training”, “Week 3 – mileage increase”, etc.
It would make following a structured training plan a lot easier on mobile without needing another app.
