Connect Developer Program access form unavailable, anyone got through recently?

Hi,

I'm working on a running coaching app with generated training plans. Strava is already integrated and we'd like to push our workouts to athlete Garmin watches via the Training API.

The access request form has been showing "Stay tuned" for weeks.
I emailed [email protected] on April 16 with all the details, no answer so far. Saw the other thread from March about the same problem.

Is the program currently paused? Is there any other way to apply? Just trying to figure out whether to wait or look at something else.

Also, has anyone here used anything else to push workouts to Garmin watches?
Would love to hear if it actually works in practice.

  • Looks like several developers have recently faced similar issues with the Garmin Connect IQ developer access and enrollment process. Some users reported the access form or login flow temporarily failing, while others eventually got through after waiting or contacting Garmin support through the Connect IQ forums. It may be a backend.

  • Understand that connect iq and connect developer are two very different things. With connect iq, anyone can develop apps for garmin devices, while connect developer relates to garmin connect.

  • Quick update for anyone landing here from search:

    I went through the Developer Contact Us form instead of the standard support email, and got an official reply within 5 hours.
    The official answer: new access requests are temporarily paused while Garmin updates the Connect Developer Program. No timeline
    given. They said the access form will be reopened once the new process is finalized.

    So the form being on "Stay tuned" is intentional, not a bug. If you're stuck like I was, use the Developer Contact form to at least get a ticket open and confirm you're in the system. Doesn't unlock access today, but it's better than the void.
