Automatically added support for new devices

I noticed for the D2 Mach 2 Pro, that over the course of a few days or weeks, support for the new model was automatically added to all my apps (that already supported the D2 Mach 2). I am wondering if that will happend for the Forerunner 70, 170 and 170Music too, or if I will need to rebuild the apps including the new models.

If you have about migration for your app enabled and the new devices are "compatible". the migration happens just before the new devices are announced. You won't see them listed until the new devices are announced though. And the auto migration only happens once, so if you update your app after the auto migration, the new devices will no longer show.

Thanks but that still doesn't help me determine if support for FR70, FR170 is going to be automatically added or not.

"compatibility" is the determining factor, and as I said the auto migration is actually done once, and right away. So, if you are not seeing these devices for any of your apps. And if you do see the two new ones, you want to make sure they are included in your app's manifest, or they will be lost the next time you update your app,

There were no compatible devices found for the part numbers declared in the manifest file.
