Crashes with "File Read Error" meaning??

On one of my apps I'm seeing crash reports with the error "File Read Error".

Below it happens 270000 times!

It is happing during the first launch of the app and it's just doing a Storage.setvalue(..., true)

What does this error mean?

In other crashes I get "Unexpected type error" which makes no sense.

I'm starting to think these are related to Garmin devices not able to update apps properly. So, these are all crashes after an update. ???

I also see "Out of memory" and "System Error" on the same Storage.setValue()

Where do you call setValue? I had one in onStop that caused an error in a small percentage. Now I tried to move it to an earlier stage. Maybe there is a similar issue when it's called too early? Like I would not be surprised if it doesn't work in the app's constructor. Or if it's called before calling AppBase.initialize()

Yes, it is in my app's initalize but after AppBase.initialize(). It also happens later in the app's ServiceDelegate.initialize().

Both work fine when the app is started by the user as far as I can tell. I'm pretty sure this can happen when the app is updated and system automatically restarts the update app. I suspect it doesn't matter when Storage is accessed in these update situations. Sigh...

What did you change in the version you put in the store on Jan 23? Seems that's when this started.

Was this an issue in the previous version? There's no way to see the ERA reports from the previous version. but did you check before updating?
