String scope glance and background?

Is it possible to have a string in both glance and background scopes?

I tried ..scope="glance,background" and other variations and the compiler didn't like any of them...

Try just scope="background". Doing so makes it also available to glance

The resource scope section has the best explanation I have seen on the background vs glance annotations.
