New: Show seconds in Always On Mode

Added ability to show seconds when in Always on Display mode."

Does this work the same as with the Always Active mode on MIP devices?

For MIP devices, onPartialUpdate allows showing seconds in low power mode. AMOLED devices don't support it, so no seconds in low power.

Wow interesting, thanks for posting this!

My educated guess is that this change will apply to native watchfaces only, at least for the time being.

If and when AMOLED devices gain the ability to use onPartialUpdate in CIQ apps, I would expect there to be an explicit announcement along with a corresponding CIQ update.

Latest Beta starting a couple of days ago brings CIQ API Level 6.0.0 (was 5.2.0 before) to latest devices.

SDK is at level 8.4.0 is it sync with 6.0.0. API Level ?

Is it the next System 9 ? System 8 was released with CIQ API Level 5.1.0 in January 2025.

I wouldn't expect changes for CIQ on the device until there is

-production FW with CIQ 6 on the devices (not just beta FW)

-updates to device file for devices with CIQ 6

-a CIQ 6.x SDK is released

Sounds like System 9 to me -there was the same kind of thing when previous System levels were announced
