CIQ Simulator - unable to view or change settings (Error code 500)

Hello,

I have developed multiple apps for the Garmin CIQ system and always tested them using the Connect IQ Simulator.

But when I now load an app onto the Simulator and try to change or edit its Settings (using the menu that opens with CTRL+P), I only get an error message saying

Unable to contact server.
Error Code: 500

(I'm not going to post a screenshot because last time I tried to post this, I included one and somehow got auto-reported and the post got removed)

How can I fix this?

It's definitely not an issue with my app as I also tried it with one that is unchanged and worked before the issues started.
