Since last forum maintenance/update - unable to tag/mention other forum users

Hi,

Since last forum maintenance and feature update, i'm unable to tag, mention any other forum users.

It was confirmed by Garmin - CP, over DM on this forum, and some other users.

One of them is always able to tag, mention users of the forum even of they are not already posting under the relevant thread or part of its friends list.

I'm waiting for Garmin feedback, and a solution because some of you are Power Users and could help or explain a lot things to the community.

As you implied, it is only possible to tag a user if they have already replied to the current thread.

Therefore, the workaround for tagging them in a *different* thread is to:

- find an open thread where…

Therefore, the workaround for tagging them in a *different* thread is to:

- find an open thread where the user you want to tag has posted

- create a new reply and tag them (but don't post the reply)

- copy the tag and paste it in the thread where you actually want to tag them
