Side loaded app not available on device

Previously had an S60 watch and was able to sideload widgets by copying PRG file generated in VSCode to Garmin\Apps. Now have S70 and I understand that PRG files when sideloaded are made hidden by the OS and need to be managed (removed) using Garmin Express/On Watch IQ store. The problem I have is that when loaded, the PRG files are disappeared from the Garmin\App folder, but the widget is not available on the device nor does it show in Garmin Express as installed. Any suggestions on what could be going on, or what to check?

Thanks. That's what I needed. Says signature check failed. With that info I found this post, indicating my SDK version is probably too old (7.3) Makes sense since I haven't done development since I got the S60 a while back.

The latest SDK is 8.2.2 I'd use that and also make sure all your device files are up to date using the SDK Manager.

Yup, update to newest version and PRG file is loading. A little confused why it is showing as an "App" now (manifest lists it as a widget.) Will look at that next.

You want to make sure it's got a glance view if you want to see it in the glance loop. On ciq 4.x+ devices, widgets get built as a device apps.
