can't download or install any apps from connect IQ store.

When I try to download / install anything, I get the following error:

Sorry, the app was not sent to your device because we are having trouble communicating with our servers. Please try again later.

What does this mean? How do i fix it?
  • I have had this error resolve itself after restarting the watch that I was trying to download to.

    I'm not positive that this was cause and effect, but restarting Express and Connect didn't fix it and it's worked for me more than once.
  • as far as the server thing, just wait a bit and try again as the server's might be down for maintenance...

    Almost a full day later and I still get this error. I've tried restarting the device, restarting the app, nothing works. Cannot DL or install anything at all.

    hey jim_m_58, your simple HR watch face is awesome. One thing though.. The HR display doesn't match the HR widget.

    The widget is often real time, while the watchface is showing "history" which could be a minute or two old. It's the same for all watchfaces that show HR.

  • That's a case where you might just have to wait a while and try again, as maybe the servers are down for maintenance. Maybe give it an hour...
