Interestingly, the list is already sorted alphabetically for me, although I see there is also a way to manually reorder the app list: Settings > Manage Apps. (I don't recall manually reordering my apps to make them alphabetical.)
As a test, I selected Settings > Reset, which clears all settings/data from the ERA Viewer (including the developer ID and private key path). Of course, I had to re-enter my developer ID and private key path.
After I selected my developer ID, the list of apps was retrieved, and it was sorted alphabetically.
If that doesn't work for you, I guess the last resort is to sort them manually, using Settings > Manage Apps.
