Today I got a generous donation on paypal:

I wonder if this is part of some scam or just someone very strange. It's from Taiwan if that matters.

This happens and I just chalk it up to an error with exchange rates. Someone thinks they are sending you more than they really are.

It is often happen to me either, most likely someone who did not read the description and though it was automatic (I could once exchange mails with one of them) and as Jim said, due to echanges rates or user mistakes (put 0.03 instead of 3.00)
