How can I test Watch Face settings on real device?

I build a watch face with app settings in visual studio code. In the simulator all works fine and I can test the settings. How can I deploy this watch face to my watch and test this settings? In garmin connect on my android I only see the watchface, but no settings.

When you upload the app to the store, you can mark it as beta so only you can see it/install it. See https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/core-topics/beta-apps/
