CIQ app settings not saving when using iOS ConnectIQ app

I am getting many people report to me that they cannot save app settings, and therefore cannot use my apps.I have narrowed this down to being related to iOS (android works) and was able to re-produce this using the latest versions on an iphone:

iOS 16.7.8
GCM 5.10.0.22
ConnectIQ 2.35

When using the IQ app, going into a CIQ app settings and tapping save does nothing at all. Add if you go back, the settings entered are not saved.

In the past I was able to suggest re-starting the watch and phone and the problem generally went away. But right now this does not seem to work.

Is anyone else seeing this or getting similar reports? I cannot believe I am the only one. Any other workarounds other than telling people to use Garmin Express on a laptop or desktop?
