Watch Face Feature: "Show on Clock" for Activity Monitor

Don't know if this has been ticketed, but would be nice to have, (maybe under System.getDeviceSettings() ), if the "Show on Clock" for Activity Monitor as true or false, so we can set to include or not such information as user discretion.

I've read about the BTooth status and Wi-fi status shall be also on the way?

Many thanks!
  • But if you like it, you can make a watchface with activity data (steps, goal, progressbar, movebar).

    edit: Im sorry. I understand what you think, now. You would like to add a function connected to system settings of act.monitor (enabled/disabled)
  • This was requested in an earlier thread, and was reported for addition in the future: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?188899-Feature-request

    Thanks!
  • Actually, the one sequence in the menu is:
    // Settings>Activity Tracking>Status>Off

    You turn off the page with the status (Progress, Calories, Distance)

    But my question was related to the //Setting>Activity Tracking>Show on Clock>On/Off

    This could trigger watch faces to display or not the information related to the activity in the main view.

    Small little difference... Would be such new features added to the next version of SDK?
  • I understand--yes, this could be added to a future version of the SDK. I imagine it could perhaps be part of System::DeviceSettings, for example. I'll update our tracking ticket to be sure this piece isn't missed. Thanks!

    Superb! Anxious for the next release!
    Many thanks in advance!
