Sounds like a bug to me. The existing behaviour doesn’t sound like a good user experience, and I don’t think it would be a good user experience for a CIQ app to close itself just because the app switcher was opened. (And it wouldn’t be a great dev experience to be forced to do so, either)

You could try posting a bug report in the CIQ bug reports section.

After having done that before a couple of times, I am not really under the impression that posting it there would have any kind of effect. ;-(

Unfortunately you're right. It still helps for other users, but then maybe it's enough in this forum
