Whether to allow users to directly add compatible models？

The CIQ store's automatic addition of compatible models is not very clear. Some of my watch faces have added tactix 8 adaptation, while others do not. 

GARMIN releases new models very frequently.
Can we just check the adaptation button on the web page instead of regenerating the iq file and uploading it?

    Do you have all your apps set for app migration?  That seems to happen right before they are announced, and if you update your app after that, the new device is lost and you need to add it and build a new iq.  And after that, you need to add the new device to the app before you build an iq.

    I set it up. But the watch face I updated in early February does not support tactix 8.

    I think Garmin can set it as a separate button. Their automatic migration is not reliable.

    Thing only issue I ever really had with it was when it migrated apps it shouldn't back in the early days of CIQ and I turned app migration for those.

    I suspect it was a timing thing. You said early Feb.  The new device was announced a few days back and the app migration probably happened a few days before that.  You won't see the new device in the store until it's been announced, which will be after the app migration for everything has finished. So it could have happened before you did your update

    I think that being able to edit the adapted devices on the web page will allow developers to better handle these similar devices that are constantly being launched.

    Actually, app migration doesn't happen that often, as while there are new devices, they often aren't the same as another device (ciq wise, etc).  And the reality is, as a dev you want to add the new device to your app, so it's not lost the next time you update the app,  In cases where you lost an app migration, adding it and updating the store doesn't take that much time.

    About the only time I update an app in the store is to add a new device, as my apps are pretty mature so there aren't that many bug fixes.
