Default vivoactive HR firmware version 3.30 is available!
This software can be downloaded using Garmin Express or Garmin Connect Mobile. Please note it can take up to 24 hours for the software to be available.
Changes made from version 2.90 to 3.30:
Added ability to display Connect IQ watchface icon in the menu
Added support for automatically starting a LiveTrack session at the beginning of an activity if that setting is enabled in Garmin Connect Mobile
Added improvement to show multiple activities on the My Day widget
Varia Vision improvements
Added user requested ability to start an activity without using the touch screen. Now pressing the start button on the app list will select the top app.

I just updated, and yes, "launcher_icon" is now displayed. But since they were never used before, mine are a bit odd.... (the default launcher icon has changed a few times over the last 20 months so they are all the default "IQ" but different sized...)
Just a heads up.... (BTW, it's got the 2.1.4 CIQ VM)
