App exits when started with glance view

Hi,

When I start the app via the Glance View, I have the problem that the app closes after a few seconds of inactivity (as soon as the display has been off for a few seconds). When I turn the display back on, the Watchface is displayed.

Is there any way to prevent this?
If I start the app normally, I don't have this problem.

When launched from the widget loop or a glance, things timeout and close a short time later. How long that is depends on the device. With newer watches, it's about 2 minutes.

You can keep it running by interacting with it - maybe just tapping the screen even if you app does nothing with taps.

This is something you don't see in the sim. With Edge devices I've used, they don't time out.

Nope... But depending on the device, you can launch it by way of the start button and the list of apps and it won't time out
