TotalAscent

Hi, my info.totalAscent seems to be wrong, because it's always equal to '0'.

Does it a parameter (maybe in the Watch : f3) to set up.

Because I have the impression that this is new, and that before it was working.
  • It isn't clear from your comments above, so I must ask... Are you seeing his behavior on the simulator or on a physical device?

    Both :

As I was seeing that in my device, I export to a .fit the session, and add logs for seing what was happening , and I always seen that the info.totalAscent was to '0'.

In garmin connect, on my activity ; I have some ascent, but it seems to be corrected by GPS. If I desactivate the "GPS correction" (in garmin connect) , the total session put me '0' ascent; but this is new; in the past, I didn't have that.
  • If you see this on the actual watch, is there an option to calibrate the baro altimeter under sensors? I have a va-hr, and that's the case. There's an option to auto or manually calibrate the altimeter.

I've noticed a few times it can be a bit off due to weather changes, etc (it's going based on air pressure).

Also, with the va-hr, there was a problem for a while if you were at or close to sea level and it got a bit confused. (I never saw that myself - I'm 1200' above sea level)

Yes , I did it, but it changed nothing. Even if the altimeter seems to work , I have the altitude that change, but not the total ascent
