No Connect IQ Data Field on Edge 1000 Map Data Screen

Hi,

I developed some simple data fields. On the Edge 1000 I can add them to the standard screens and even to the elevation data screen. But the map data screen offers no option to add a connect IQ data field. I have the choice to select the standard data fields (cadence, Calories, ... Workouts) on the map screen, but there is no "Connect IQ" option. I even tried the new beta 90.10 beta firmware.

Any ideas?

The Edge does not currently support adding CIQ fields to the Map Screen. The field overlays on the map screen use a different rendering buffer than the rest of the system, and don't support CIQ at this time. Adding CIQ fields to this screen may be enabled with updates to the Edge, but we do not know if/when it will happen.
