Cant Upload .prg file

Hy

I´d like to test my new watchface direct on the watch. To test it I uploaded the .prg file direct in the APPS folder, when the watch is connected to the mass storage.

After disconnection the watch it takes some time and then it´s possible to go into the menu. But I can´t choose the watchface. Connection the watch on the computer again, the file copied in the APPS folder is missing.

Watch: Fenix 3
Firmware: Version 7.60

Any ideas?

What version of the SDK are you using? If it's 1.2.x, you're probably getting a signing error. See: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?354407-App-Signing-and-Security

you'll see the error message in \garmin\apps\logs\ciq_log.txt

I´m using 1.2.11.

Right, its an signatur check failure:
Signature check failed on file: DIRTRU~1

As i understand correct, there is no possibility to side-load the watchface?

If you upgrade to the 2.1.x SDK you'll be able to build for your watch with developer signing and sideload it. You'll also be able to use some of the new 1.3 functions on the f3.

It´s working now.

I thought CIQ 2.x only includes 2.x and not 1.2.x

With 2.1.x you can build for 1.2, 1.3 and 2.1 devices
