URL loading error with Fenix 8

Hi all,

maybe somebody here has a clue about this issue: Error loading URL with Fenix 8 (worked with Fenix 7) - fēnix 8 Series - Wearables - Garmin Forums

Basically my app that loads a secured http url fails with Fenix 8 although it worked with all previous Fenix watches.

Really nobody is facing this issue? Is somebody using Let's Encrypt certificates on a server and can verify whether requests to this server work with a Fenix 8?

I use Lets Encrypt certificates, so far no problems are known with any Fenix 8 variants. I don't have a physical F8 device, but I would probably have heard complaints if there had been problems on those devices. The logs also look good so far.

Thanks for the information! It seems weird to me that it still works on my Fenix 7 but not on Fenix 8. There must be a difference. Maybe something undocumented that changed... Really annoying as I was not expecting something like this to happen when I decided to get a Fenix 8...

Ok, I installed the current beta and tweaked the app settings, now it seems to work. Not sure though if this is a general problem or not. Thanks again for all people reading through this!

Cannot say exactly. I digged in several areas:

- app settings (url)

- server cert settings (key algorithms, cert file to include complete chain)
