Please fix "Always On" backlight option

The "Always On" backlight option should only apply for when the user explicitly turns the backlight on by pressing the "light" button. It should not apply when the backlight is automatically turned on as a result of wrist movement or alerts or pressing other buttons. For the three last cases the light should automatically turn off after a configured number of seconds.

Are you reporting a device firmware issue? If so, it seems like you should probably be reporting this in the appropriate area.

No a firmware issue. Just the wrong way of implementing the feature. Think about it, does it make sense for the light to stay on indefinitely when turned on by gesture movements or alarms? It should only stay on if the user explicitly pressed the light button.

If the problem occurs outside of ConnectIQ (when using the default watch face, or one of the built-in apps) then it isn't a ConectIQ problem, and you're posting to the wrong area.

If this is a ConnectIQ problem, can you provide sample code that demonstrates the problem?

As "Always on" is in the FW settings, it's a FW thing. I'd post in the f3 device forum...
