Anyone able to get Face It to track wheelchair pushes? Or does it only do steps?

I brought the Venu 3 to track wheelchair pushes, but the preloaded watchfaces aren't great. 
So downloaded Garmin IQ, made a Face It clock face, but it doesn't seem to track wheelchair pushes only steps. Anyone managed to get wheelchair pushing tracking on a Face It clock face?
