Training Effect is only available on some of our higher end devices. You can read more about it here: https://forums.garmin.com/archive/index.php/t-351848.html. You will not be able to return a value for that any longer as it is not supported.

Why Garmin removes functionality with new releases???? Thats not correct. I buy a Device because of its funcionalities, why remove it?

Yes this is correct based on my experience. The Vivoactive used to support Training Effect in the SDK and now no longer does. I just assumed that is was a mistake on Garmin's part to enable Training Effect in the first place, and that that is why the removal didn't feature in any release notes.
